I mean the fact that you cant work or drive does it bother you ? Do you find yourself getting bored i am worried that will happen to my partner

British Airways from Abu Dhabi to Muscat (and indeed, Swiss from Dubai to Muscat) can be had for under 900. True though, both get you in late - 1am for Swiss, 2am for BA.

I've just paid Dh 1260 on Etihad: Abu Dhabi to Muscat Friday morning, return Saturday evening.

I used to pay 350 dhs to Qatar with Gulf Air

best way is to just drive over the border or just pay to 'extend'.
