It would seem that there's about 1000-2000aed/ moth difference in DEWA between apartment and villa, which I find bonkers... but then there's a lot to be said for piggy-backing the A/C off the building's common areas and not running your own independently...
Anyhow, Kitty, we've just got a basic Du package - basic telly (don't watch it really at all), 8Mb broadband (allegedly) and the phone is something daft like 30aed a month. We could really do without the telly package, but I think they're a bit funny in that you need to have the basic in everything in order to get all 3 services...
