how long did it took you to receive the paperwork from employer in Saudi Arabia, my potential employer is a private company so need to get authorisation from Chamber of Commerce also. It was mentioned in this forum that it is taking approx 3 months to receive the paperwork from Saudi. Keen to understand your experience.

so roughly from signing of contract to the visa approx 22-24 weeks.
8 weeks for Saudi Documents
10-12 weeks for SACB attestation
3-4 weeks for visa process

Yep - this timeline allows plenty of things to get delayed in between. I was under the impression it’ll all be done in 2-3 months but that’s definitely hasn’t been the case.

Hello everyone, update from me!
TLDR; For visa medical, make sure your doctor is registered with the Foreign Office
I chose to get my medicals done in my home city. My visa medicals were rejected by the Foreign Office due to the doctors from my clinic not being on the approved FCO list.
My visa agent failed to inform me of this when I was booking my medicals so please do make sure your chosen doctor is approved by FCO before going ahead.
I now have to pay an additional fee to get my medicals signed by a solicitor and then resubmitted to the FCO for stamping.
Hope everyone’s visa application journey is going well.

If you have worked in KSA before, and your degree has been attested for your iqama 10 years ago, will that attestation still be valid? Do you get the same iqama number or a new one?

Good to hear - the link that was down redirects to Mosadaqa. It seems they decided to redirect people to an already running service instead of fixing the old system.
Mosadaqa historically could not be used for the UK. Looks like they’ve added it to the list now, which is great for the next folks that apply.

I’ve also been granted my work visa today. Happy days, hope you are all progressing in the right direction.
