i think that might not be possible. Because if you read above about the people who reached out to sacb directly and heard back, they asked them to email their stamped contract as one of the required documents. Also in my case along with the contract the saudi employer sent me a letter addressed to sacb asking them to attest my documents. My agent had this letter in addition to the contract as one of the required documents.

will wait for the offer letter.
so to clarify docs needed, scan of degree, scan of passport and offer letter. Is there something which I have missed? Please confirm.

this is the list of documents I had to provide:
- Clear Scan copy of the Certificate.
- Scan copy of the passport
- Scan copy of complete Visa Authorisation letter
- Scan copy of Complete Saudi cultural office Authorisation letter, found in the pack
- Scan copy of attestation request letter from the Saudi company stamped by Saudi chamber of commerce
the last three items in the list above all came from the Saudi employer in my case.

Thanks for the update haychq. I havent heard back on mine either. The agent just said that they are actively following up.
On another note, did you have your medical and police certificate already sorted? I am just wondering if I’ll have to do all of that again because of this degree attestation delay. I already had my medical about 2 months ago and got the police certificate sorted at the same time too. Should have waited until this attestation thing was in place. But then again, I didnt know this IT issue would happen and this attestation thing would take an eternity. But I did those things when the agent asked me to. I read somewhere that the medical test and police certificate are only accepted by the embassy if they are up to 60 days old. If thats true. Im worried i’ll cross that timeline due this attestation IT issue and will have to redo the police certificate and the medical and incur more costs. Anyone else in this situation?

This is correct. Bear in mind that the Saudi Chamber of Commerce stamp is another step in the process that your employer in KSA will have to go through if it's a private company. So even if you get your contract, there may be some weeks before all the stamping concludes on the KSA side. It's a long, arduous process, so sit tight. Everyone I have spoken with said it takes 6 months end to end because you end up with some unforeseen issue.

As per the advice on the forums, it is great support.
I also emailed about degree attestation; the reply was the below.
"Dear Sir/Madam
The Embassy stopped Legalizing documents since the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined The Hague 1961 convention on apostilles, you just need to get an apostille from the FCDO."
Not sure what that actually means.

Hi All,
I recently had my Bachelor’s and Master’s diplomas attested by SACM/Mosadaqa and wanted to share my experience and timeline.
I’m from the Netherlands, and when I contacted SACM in NL, they informed me that non-Saudis can authenticate certificates directly through the Mosadaqa platform (www.mosadaqa.sa) without needing to send documents by mail or get manual stamps.
Here’s how my process went:
- 22 July: Submitted both diploma requests via the Mosadaqa portal.
- 4 August: Mosadaqa contacted my educational institute.
- 8 August: I was asked to sign a consent form to share my personal data with Mosadaqa.
- 12 August: My university sent a declaration confirming my graduation and registration periods.
- 25/26 August: Received confirmation from Mosadaqa that both diplomas were authenticated.
I’m not sure if this online portal works for other countries, but I hope this info is helpful. Good luck!

Hope everyone is doing well - so this attestation saga continues...
I finally managed to go to my university earlier today and met a lovely lady I spoke with last week. Although she couldn’t find it at first, after a few tries and searches, she managed to locate an email from the SACB this Monday evening. When we scrolled down, it was in response to the email from my agent and not from me.
Just to recap the series of events:
My agent is super unhelpful, so I never hear an update from him. Even if SACB messaged him to say we have contacted the university, I’ll have not heard from him.
Anyhow - back to the lovely lady at the University, she drafted a response and sent them an email in front of me. She simply needed to confirm three things:
For those of you who contacted around 16-20 July dates, it is worth checking with your respective Universities.
All the best - I will post if I hear anything else.

Just to recap the series of events:
- I contacted SACB on the 17th of July after discovering this thread.
- I received a response asking me to send in all my documents on the 19th of July.
- I responded to their email on 19th July
- It all went quiet after this - I started overthinking that it must be something to do with my middle name issue, see post #38 (sigh)
- I contacted my agent on the 29th July, he mentioned they had also submitted my documents to the SACB last week (last week to 29th July)
- The email that was forwarded from the SACB included my agent’s initial email dated 21st July.
- I have since chased SACB on 25th July, 31st July & 7th August before going to the University today

- Authenticity of the degree
- whether it was face to face or remote
- where it was in the UK
