Cheers Truthspeak, thats exactly the kind of thing i was after.
i wasn't quite thinking of a 20 foot container for shipping, more a few crates! I'm not gonna bring any furniture, just personal effects, that said i've got quite a lot that I know I'm not going to want to be without!
i had already feared the thing about nursing pay with the cheap labour, although all her A&E experience has put her a good few grades above just bedbaths and arsewiping so hopefully that'll count for something.
we're both pretty paid back so hopefully we can take most things in our stride. I've already visited my good mate from work out there, he went out just less than a year ago on slightly less money than me and he's got an amazing setup, so I reckon it'll all be okay.
one worry is that i get 2 weeks in a hotel after arrival to find rented accomodation. Is that at all realistic?
cheers for the rest, we don't plan to start a family out there!
