There’s a great post on the other NEOM thread on the recruitment process so that might shed some light a little. Good luck!

For anyone curious about the recruitment process, here’s my experience as a Saudi candidate who has been working in the United States for the past 10 years:
Cheers!
- November 2023: Initial screening by the recruiter.
- December 2023: First interview, which went very well with positive feedback.
- January 2024: Second interview.
- July 2024: Received a verbal offer.
- August 8, 2024: Official offer received.
- August 27, 2024: Received a revised offer after negotiations.
Cheers!

Bare in mind also that depending on the job grade, there is am upper band limit. So for example if you are moving from another GCC role and are near that upper limit anyway, they will not be able to go over it (as I've been told). So your actual uplift may be just a few %.

Hi everyone
going to be interviewed for a role soon.
I'm currently self employed working in day rates. circa £600 a day.
What could I expect for a senior manager role?
Also, I assune there are no pension contributions, so will have pay into my personal pensionIi imagine?
If ai do that and draw no UK salary for a full tax year, do I get any tax relief anywhere?
Thank you in advance.

Hi!
I have been contacted about a potential role with Neom, and will be completing the psychometric testing this week.
1) During the first call with the recruiter, they mentioned an uplift on current salary is 10% - 25%. Reading back through previous threads on here, it looks like the uplift has been more like 25% - 30% (although it also seems there has been a hiring freeze recently). Is this a sign of reducing salaries (across the board) moving forward?
2) The recruiter was keen to stress that family status is not available. I already understood this to be widely the case, and this works for us as we have two children in a UK school that they like, so my wife and children would remain in the UK. In this situation does Neom tend to still offer the school allowance (around 60k per child up to 2 or 3 children I have read??) even though I would not be on family status?
3) I have read posts mentioning a relocation allowance of around 75k SAR. Given the information in (2), do others find there is a reduced relocation allowance due to the non-family status? Have you found this to be negotiable?
For context, current UK salary is £99k + pension + benefits, and on the financial side my main priority is to save (however UK school fees and the impending 20% VAT increase are eating into this currently!).
Any advice greatly appreciated, thank you

For those already at NEOM, is it straight forward to advance through the grades, such as through promotions? Currently, my job offer places me at the maximum limit of the current role's grade. What occurs next year when a review necessitates a pay rise? Is there a possibility of being promoted to a higher grade?

1) No clue, but I got 25% exactly. My role is Grade 5 (presumabely below yours) so bear that in mind.
2) I believe the school allowance can be used in any country, not just KSA
3) I got 75k as a single guy. From what I gather, almost nothing is negotiable unless you're senior director level or above
Hope that helps!
