Hi
bit of an odd one, i have a diploma (as my career didnt really need a BSc back in the day, all vocation) but recently completed my Masters in the UK - via distant learning.

So a little confused as sacb states:

Applications will be rejected in the following instances:

  • Distance learning (applicant didn’t study in the UK)
I studied in the UK. Would the Masters be attested? My diploma has nothing to do with my role now, my Masters has more relevance. Thanks in advance

Have a chat with your employer about which visa job titles are available without the attested degree. They do exist depending on your industry.

Could you tell me how you managed to get the visa without a degree? I have my job offer with NEOM but don’t have a degree.

Not all visas require a degree. Your HR team will simply apply for a visa which doesn’t need a degree or get a degree exemption.

Thanks a lot, that’s great news. They seemed to suggest that I had to have one today.

Thanks, I have been upfront about not having a degree but they are still progressing to interview.

From what I heard, you can have 3 months after joining NEOM to submit the degree attestation. So you dont need it for visa.

Hi all,
Been trying to get my certificates attested. Masters got rejected because of being online, one diploma attested after 2.5months and now waiting for other diploma. The HR are of not much help and don't know what to do for the degree exemption status.
Fo r the degree exemption do you have to contact the Saudi cultural office or the embassy?
Can anyone help?
I won't be working for Neom.
Thanks

With hindsight it was a bit of a palava. I’d say better come out on your own first and then work on getting the yellow slip whilst your family are in home country and have not yet upped sticks.
Hi wilkobury, how are the family finding life there on the family visit visa? Do they stay for the entire 9 months, then cross a border and back into Saudi?

Hi I’m in the same position ie no degree and only a diploma I’ve also been upfront with them although my interview was with the 3rd party who recently won a bid to work on behalf of NEOM.
I’ve had a formal interview, followed by an informal one which I believe would be my direct reporting manager.
I’ve signed my offer letter back in July, NDA & mobilisation letter although I’ve had some contact with them it’s me doing the chasing and I’m trying not to constantly bombard them with emails or WhatsApp.

Either they are still trying to get my visa or I’ve been dropped. In the second interview I was told how happy they would be to have me on board and my work location etc but now a little confused about the delayed process.
