As I understand it you will have to pay it off before you can do your final exit. Note that if you are paying it off from the final payout you don't get that until you have done the final exit - some have been caught out by that.

So cuts are here, all semi-critical positions and below to be axed, some staff to be moved under new management company but that's going to be tough given they are often overstaffed themselves.
