What dates do you normally choose to travel to Neom for your joining? Thursday night and then take rest on Fri Sat and then join on Sun? Or Wednesday night ? But then again you’d actually land on Thursday so would be joining on Sunday? Has anyone travelled from Australia and what day did you choose? I can see least time journey only on Wednesday from here via Qatar airways , all other days journey is over at least 22 hours.
Also, what day of the month should one be joining to get the salary that month. Suppose I join on 15th , would I be getting Salary on 25th of that month or next month? Or should one try to join by 10th to ensure Salary that month

PS well done for landing a role. I've all but given up.

Afternoon all!
I'm very early on in the process here and I note that a lot of members are at a stage where they've interviewed/had offers. However my angle is slightly different so I'm hoping I can get some guidance.
I currently have a good job in middle east, and all is well. three months ago I applied for a Neom posts through the careers website and didn't get anywhere. I didn't really think much of it as I had 0 expectations. However last month, out of the blue, a recruiter called me and said my skills match a role that has gone live. I had an informal chat with the recruiter followed by a psychometric test.
I haven't heard back since and really want to manage my own expectations. I have family living in Saudi and would love to relocate there but reading some of the posts here I feel like I'm a long way off even an informal offer. So my question is, how soon after the psychometric test can you find out if they will proceed to an interview? Is it a given you'll even get invited if you've been invited to do the test? Is it possible to fail the psychometric test? Has anyone had rejections etc? I have written 3 emails to the same recruiter but havent heard anything yet.

Hi Folks, I will be joining Oxagon soon and wanted to get thoughts on the current situation there. Additionally, what do people typically do during their free time, such as in the evenings and on weekends? Been told current temp accommodation is at TCC, which is in Duba I think.

Depending on when you get here, you may be placed in TCC, which are single apartments next to Oxagon camp or you may be placed in an apartment in Duba.
There is a new company community called The Hive that is opening over the next 6 weeks. Everyone who doesn't live in Oxagon Camp will move there soon.
In Oxagon, there are a few clubs for tennis, football, etc. There are places you can go hiking, biking, or snorkeling around the area and it usually isn't hard to find someone else to join.
Safe travels.

- What are the accommodation options in Trojena? Is it limited to single status, or is there flexibility to bring family after a certain period?
- What is the typical salary range for a Grade 8 position?

the phase "single apartment" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here
Try a bed in a small room, there is no kitchen or sofa. There is a chair and a small coffee table you can balance a laptop on and struggle a bit with space for the mouse. There is a small fridge to put about 5 x 500ml water bottles in
and a bathroom so small you can wash your hair in the shower while sitting on the loo ( slight exaggeration)
Good news is that all the occupants are being sent to The Hive later on this month and those are nice 1 bedroom apartments which if you are an TCC inmate will feel like luxury. The 40 min commute each way to work on H55 might get old quickly as will the approx. 12 to 18 months of construction the Hive still needs ( its a building site for most of it).

Hi Fellas,
This thread so far has been a pleasure to read thru. Just before I start crossfiring some questions a bit about me. I am in process of interviewing for a Financial controller role with Neom. Now, I am a long term KSA resident and that makes me a local hire. I was headhunted directly by Neom HR and so far things are rolling smoothly. I've done 3 interviews so far first being the HR screening, followed by the BU Director, then the Executive dir.. and I'm waiting for my last with the CFO. The role I'm being offered doesn't specify S. Mmgr or Mmgr so I'm not sure what grade I'd be hired at. Secondly I'm being offered a SMP role which I'm told will be changed to FTE. The HR lady told me that the only difference is I'll not be on Neom Iqama, I wont be entitled for Schooling, and I won't be entitled to a 3 year contract but rest will be same as all FTE.
Q1 : so my first question is can anyone tell me what payscale should I be looking at?
Q2. Can someone who is hired as an SMP explain their experience so far?
Q3. Who are the SMP suppliers for Neom?
Q4. Are local hires entitled to relocation?
Q5. I have my own vehicle. Should I just bring it with me? If I'm housed in NC1, where can I park it?
Much appreciated in advance for some answers.

Hi I am joining Neom as an SMP, there isn't much information on it. I was contacted directly by Neom and there are no recruiters involved. I've been told that the only benefits I will not be entitled for are children's fees, and my contract will be for 1 year as I won't be under Neom sponsorship. I'm told that I will become an FTE after completing 1 year. Can someone tell me more about their experience being recruited as an SMP? Alot of the stories I've read on this wonderful forum has given me a lot of info and I'm grateful to all of you for that. Since I am in Saudi already my experience has been slightly different from most of you all. Please feel free to contact me in DM. I would love more info.

Hi, has anyone been placed at OAK village? I was told that NC2 accommodation is running thin and here’s the new location they’re offering.
How far is OAK Village to NC2?
I’m expected to arrive by September.
I am appointed through SMP (third party) and is wondering if NC1and NC2 are dedicated only for NEOM direct employee?

I would love to ask you some questions. Would it be possible if we could have a chat about your experience as an SMP?

Good day everyone.
Festive greetings to everyone.
My husband is a month out from joining Neom. We will be traveling with him, we were told flights would be provided for all of us, but the recruiter is now saying they don’t book tickets for dependents. I’m confused?

Good day,
thank you for any help in advance. For new starters - start of February - can I ask where accommodation is likely to be? My assignment will be in the administration in NEOM if that is important to say to you.

Do you mean you’re just travelling with him for a visit?
