Abu Dhabi is not that practical... There are cheap direct flights from Aqaba but I hear they get cancelled quite often.

From Neom Bay and Tabuk (the 2 airports closest) there are direct 3 hour flights to Dubai.

If you are based in Nc1 or Nc2 - Neom Bay is a short 30 minute ride. If you are based in Trojena then Neom Bay and Tabuk airport are both apx 2.5 hours away.

We are about to move to Abu Dhabi so we went and checked it out in June and we decided to fly into Dubai and hire a car because the flight paths were rubbish.

Yes. It seems to be a common arrangement. I also have older, high school, kids so moving them to Neom is not really an option.

If you search the thread you’ll find info - no spaces last time I heard, and a long wait list. There’s also no family accommodation, which is why most with families have their families live elsewhere.

One of the first things I was asked in my initial HR screening was how did I feel about not being able to being able to access family accommodation and schooling at Neom for up to two years.

Question regarding Road 8784 (connection between Tabuk and Sharma): I think that this road or steep sections of this road are blocked for use by oversized vehicles such as trucks. Does anyone know how this is enforced? Are there checkpoints in place? Trying to assess how safe it is to travel there. I was hoping that someone on this chat might know. Thanks a ton! Cheers

I received an offer from Neom however they downgraded me because my current salary did not fall into range of the position for which I had applied.
In this view, what are promotion perspectives in Neom. It is finance related job.

Promotion cycles are once a year.

I have noticed that it is very normal for your job title to be downgraded here (mine included), so I wouldn't base your conclusion on taking the role solely on that.

Thank you for your comment. Do you know something about accomodation in NC2? Are there one bedroom apartaments or just studio for one person. I think from perspective of visit of my relatives to have any space to sleep for them.

Everyone in NC2 will be moving to NC1 over the coming months. They have already started moving families and everyone else will follow suite.

They are currently building additional units in NC1 - I think around 2000, which I believe will be a mixture of 1+2 bedroom units, however the 2 bedroom units are for families, so you will likely get a 1 bedroom unit.
