It is difficult to get started, you need to build up a client base, most P/T's work out of gyms and it is increasingly more difficult to freelance without a license..The govt are, finally, cracking down on under qualified, uninsured gym hobbyists who parade as P/Ts. You could come out and work for a gym, you need to get your certificates authenticated. You could then pick up a few private clients and go from there.

And would they provide accommodation for myself? as we don't want to get married due to only being together for a year, so cant live together?
You say he wants to 'become' a PE teacher. Does this mean he isn't a qualified PE teacher, but a qualified Primary Teacher?

If this is the case, he is highly unlikely to get a job as a PE teacher in Dubai either in Primary or Secondary.

The calibre of school sport in Dubai, in particular in Primary is extremely high. Jobs in the majority of schools are very much sought after and many high quality candidates apply for each post, both from within and outside Dubai.

With the downturn in UK we are also finding more good quality applicants coming from UK to try and get out.

You are unlikely to get accommodation with a job using the qualifications you have, and with your limited experience (19 years old).

Regardless of whether you plan to live together in Dubai, you would need a work/residency visa in order to remain longer than 30 days at a time. If you were caught co-habiting it could be a major problem.

Sorry to sound negative, but you have a fairly big uphill battle based on your aspirations vs qualifications/experience in the current market.

Disagree regards PE teachers. They have to be qualified in order to get a work visa.

Same with coaches who work with the sports companies working in schools.

I presume the reference to unqualified/hobbyist was for Personal Trainers.

He has a sport science degree with a GTP teaching qualification, he's also been the sport specialist at his previous primary school, there is no transition from primary to secondary it's just purely on experience! I'm not planning to go there anymore purely on the fact of my age, It would be pretty boring for myself. Thank you for your opinions and what not.

They have a very strong swim team who compete to a high standard within Saudi and across the Middle East. I would think they want somebody with extensive swim teaching/coaching experience to a reasonably high level.

It looks like they have 2 posts going, one of which is solely swimming and the other a combination of PE and swimming.

It would potentially be a lucrative position for the PE/swimming post. The coaching post isn't particularly highly paid.

Used to be called the 'Barracudas' until a major shakeup both in structure and management more than a few years ago.
