Re: Missing in Dubai - timmy maccoll, sailor
I just want to add that I adore the word "Flounce". Thanks Lorna for re-introducing me to it.
I do think that this thread has more than served its purpose. I do feel for his family, it must be extremely hard to deal with Timmy's disappearance but it seems to me that they have been offered lots of support & practical help from members on here.
Maybe they will never find out what has happened to Timmy, I can only try & imagine what that would be like. I know I would have to see where things happened & talk to everyone I could personally & that would mean being in Dubai. I wouldn't expect to get answers necessarily but at least I would know that I had done everything I could. But then we are all different.
I don't believe that being unpleasant to those people in Dubai who have tried to help is helpful

Not bad eh darling?? ...considering that I have been up for 28 hours and am still partying :-) I am surprised that I can still tyyepe (hahaha).. I am drinking pink bubbly and eating a fabulous birthday cake that Jumeirah gave me as we speak..I am suppose to be going out for lunch and then on for dinner at the Ivy tonight..not sure I will make it through the day... If I go missing in action please tie a bottle of pink bubbly to the palm trees

Close it. Please. Agree with Auz. The family will update BC or Kix privately if there is anything worthy of note.

Can I just politely suggest that you might have got off on the wrong foot when choosing your name.......? I, for one, found it difficlt to take seriously the 'concerns' of someone with such a silly name.
If you had chosen 'Concerned For Timmy' or something, you might have been taken more seriously? Just a thought.
Anyway - from this upstart - good luck.

Read this thread since the beginning, has it ever been proved flakycow actually IS a member of the family? She seems a bit bi polar also!

And you seem like an an arsehole! Seriously is there any need? I think Fluffy may have been out of order with some of her comments but she is dealing with a bloody horrible situation - what`s your excuse? As for her being a genuine family member personally I think she is though others may be able to verify it.

OK guys, enough of the school playground insults. I'm back in UK for my daughters wedding today, I really don't want to have to referee a kiddies bunfight on here. Start acting your ages, not your shoe sizes.
