Just get this back on topic...
Have a friend who is likely coming out but has to give up UK job. Doesn't want to get here and then find there is something wrong with blood, HIV or something.
Where could he be tested for all these things in the Uk cheaply?
I suggested the std clinic for some things..?

Have a friend who is likely coming out but has to give up UK job. Doesn't want to get here and then find there is something wrong with blood, HIV or something.
Where could he be tested for all these things in the Uk cheaply?

I've had medicals done in the UK in the local doctors. They take a blood and urine sample, send it away and you get the results in a few days. If you explain what your friend wants to be tested for it shouldn't be a problem. It wasn't that expensive either.

Sounds like your 'friend' has been a bad boy
I've had medicals done in the UK in the local doctors. They take a blood and urine sample, send it away and you get the results in a few days. If you explain what your friend wants to be tested for it shouldn't be a problem. It wasn't that expensive either.

google it - bet you can buy a testing kit online...
