Well the ban seems ineffective as was on the family beach yesterday on the corniche and the jet skis were flying up and down as usual, a few feet away from the floating barrier separating the swimming area from the channel leading to the marina mall area.

I've always thought that there should be two floating barriers - one for the swimmers, one for the jet skis and some dead-man-land in between.

I was always shocked to see people holding on to the barriers being buzzed by the jet skis.

There was a lone arsehole on a jet ski at Al Zeina on Friday evening too. I'd love the sea plane to come along and wipe him out.

Lots of accidents here in Thailand and people being ripped off by owners claiming damage that was not there before.They are driven along near the beach and this is when accidents happen,how many people know what what a dive flag looks like as well as why its in the water on a float?!!

Most of them get irritated by its noise. But people would definitely miss it.
