my drive home along SZR was not pleasant!
and in Umm suqeim had to drive through a few flooded streets where the water was alarmingly high!

A friend of mine in Um Sequim is under water - and there are steps some four foot high up to her front door!

the water is high across umm seq and jumeirah...it's quite scary in places...

well its was well above my door sills but I did the old bow wave trick which seemed to work!

enter the water slowly. then speed up gradually to abt 10mph and keep it at a steady speed. creates a wave in front of the car which lowers the water height behind the wave.

what, you mean you don't speed up to ensure maximum tidal wave...that's where i've been going wrong then...

........ why don't you all go to your drinks cabinets, pour yourselves a large scotch, and then PIG out on bacon sandwiches...............
