one child aged 9. when in the uk he ran building sites, houses and flats now in nigeria its water plants construction which i guess is more civil engineering. where is the best place to look at jobs in that area. if i said we wanted school fees paid and a villa plus a wage of about 35k sterling would i be having a laugh

He should look at Abu Dhabi, I know Aldar/Laing are looking for people for the Al Raha Beach project.
They have just been awarded the infrastructure component and I'm sure they will be crying out for civils folks.

ok good start register with the agency let them get back to us with what we can expect to get. do you have to try and improve the offers or is that a waste of time. and last question is it in the end does anyone ever regret making the move

I don't qualify. My parents were here for years. Met husband here, got married here, need I go on. I aint a real 'expat'.
