I know, I had one when I worked in S Korea. Never thought I'd be so unlucky twice..

Cars are cheaper in Oman than in UAE. Many Emiratis go to Oman to purchase theirs, it might be worth considering if you are thinking of buying a new one.

Worse by a country mile. When you pull out of a junction and you need to floor it, there is a 'dead mans delay' of about 2 seconds when the engine dies whilst trying to work out what gear to select. Very unnerving

For a 2 litre V6 its totally slow also.

This of course is all reflected in the price tag however.

Pay peanuts get monkeys

Kias are getting better compared to where they once were. The Mohave is quite good. You pay for it though.

I think I am going to get a SH car from US ( I know it's not Gulf specs ), I can get a fantastic deal in the US, half price compared to any " reduced price due to expat leaving" cars advertised on dubizzle.com
