I sold my brand new untouched golf clubs when i was coming out here no-one told me I could take em for free :curse:

BA gave us a right royal screwing when we moved across. Admittedly we were 33kg over, but ₤879 seemed OTT.

For BA, I think its now one suitcase and one golf bag to be checked in. I avoid them at all cost, but don't want to drag my soapbox out.

Emirates have always been fine with us...some friends who visited were well over the limit and nothing was said.

DH plays every Friday at about 4 pm, just let me know when you get sorted, oh and that offer is open to anyone who fancies a bit of sand golf over the summer!!!

Emirates are a lot more flexible travelling from this end rather than UK. You definately will not be able to take the guitar on board as hand luggage so its either check it in or leave it behind. Hand luggage sizes are now roughly the size of an average laptop case.

call me old fashioned, but i prefer my golf on grass. Ill stick to the Montgomerie thanks!!

totally agree as i was at hamburg yesterday and they had out the scales/dimension thingy at the economy check in.

Business class thou is a different story, especially if you are a frequent flyer. I mean yesterday i got a complementary comb.
