Just a wee survey to see what we get for our money. MAy be useful to all newbies...or wannabe UAE residents.
If u are renting in Dubai, how many bedrooms, rooms, villa, apartment or a share and whats the annual rent.

3 beds, approx 104,000 Dhs, not enough sq ft. Something like that anyway.

Im one of the *lucky* few who get to live and work in SHJ.
2B/R,60K,no idea about the square footage but,as always,never enough

Springs 3 bed, 2 and a half bath, large back garden, study, 2400sq ft, 74k a year plus had the garden done for free

I was shown the house next door to mine, which is exactly the same, I mean even the garden, lake view etc, etc and it still stands empty at Dhs170!!! They did reduce it to Dhs160 for us bless, so we went next door and got that one for Dhs135 with garden thrown in.
I like a bargain myself...............but I keep looking for cracks everywhere, like it is gonna fall down any minute and we have been rented a heap of shite

If we'd held off and taken our time, we could probably have found something similar for less, but we just wanted to get out of the hotel ASAP. There are few things more depressing than living in a hotel

got a three bedroom villa in mirdif, 8 villa compound with decent size pool. 70,000 year. Don't know the sq ft, but is enough for us and a big step up from a two bed room flat in AD!
