Just a wee survey to see what we get for our money. MAy be useful to all newbies...or wannabe UAE residents.

If u are renting in Dubai, how many bedrooms, rooms, villa, apartment or a share and whats the annual rent.

3 bed apartment just off SZR.....100K.....2700 square foot.

Don't really know & bit pissed to find out to be honest!

3 beds, approx 104,000 Dhs, not enough sq ft. Something like that anyway. :D

4 bed, separate maid room, front and back small private gardens then shared pool 85k!!!! Al Sufouh (media city) I am never moving......... :D

Springs 3 bed, 2 and a half bath, large back garden, study, 2400sq ft, 74k a year plus had the garden done for free

Springs 3 bed, Type 3 end unit, large back/side garden and small front garden (grass and plants put in for free by landlord), 85k

Speaking to quite a few people, I feel I somehow inadvertently got a really good deal.

It very much depends on who you deal with, what agent, many say they will get you the best deals, but they are shite or show you sommat completely different to what you asked for.

I was shown the house next door to mine, which is exactly the same, I mean even the garden, lake view etc, etc and it still stands empty at Dhs170!!! They did reduce it to Dhs160 for us bless, so we went next door and got that one for Dhs135 with garden thrown in.

I like a bargain myself...............but I keep looking for cracks everywhere, like it is gonna fall down any minute and we have been rented a heap of shite :D

Looks like you did. Wonder how much your rent will rise next year, though?

If we'd held off and taken our time, we could probably have found something similar for less, but we just wanted to get out of the hotel ASAP. There are few things more depressing than living in a hotel :(

got a three bedroom villa in mirdif, 8 villa compound with decent size pool. 70,000 year. Don't know the sq ft, but is enough for us and a big step up from a two bed room flat in AD!
