I2 total comp you can assume (with bonus around 2.0MM AED
I3 total comp 2.5MM AED
I4 total comp 3.5MM AED

or something similar -- these were the averages a few years ago... schooling is 48K per child up to 18 years.. housing is like 200k per year at I2 (paid monthly); 240K for the higher grades.

EOS is 17% of basic; Expat Allowance is between 8-11K per month dependent on grade.

From the US take your salary convert to AED + say 15% and that's it --- thats your basic.... I2 approx basic is 40K; I3 60K I4 80-110K

Thanks for all the information you've provided above, it's really helpful.

Any insight into the following questions would also be a great help for me:

The child allowance mentioned, what happens to it for those without children? Is it added to remuneration packages or is it a use it or lose it type deal?
How cutthroat or soft is the work culture? (IT specfiically but appreciate you may not have specifics into this)
What is the likelihood of extended employment? (provided you're doing everything else correct and a good fit at the company)
