Haven't got our email yet but I think it is quite common for the email to be sent a week or so later, looking at the timelines?

I think we may possibly get an RFE based on the question I missed out by accident, but hoping it will be ok - we have sent the petition in early so that we can account for any delays ...

How about you? Are you on a strict timeline?

It is kind of tight. We aren't too sure yet when we will be leaving, but it will be early 2014 hopefully. We are going to the US in December to sort bits and pieces out, but I doubt we will be done by then.

To update

Have filed missus's 2011 Tax Return and received a Transcript and Return for 2012 (official thingy from the IRS).

Going to file 2010 Tax Return this week, and then at the end of the year file 2013 Tax Return. That will mean 4 years of Tax Returns, so that should be plenty.

See that a few people have managed to get their NOA2's really fast - well done! We are still waiting on ours; I suspect it is that question that is holding things up .... will let you know if we do get it early though, we are probably expecting at the earliest by early October due to the listed Embassy processing times for I-130 at the moment ...

Also, trying to find screenshots of the new DS-260 form to see how similar it is to the printed out form of the DS-230, as I had already filled that one out in advance, so should just be a case of copy and paste hopefully ... :thumbup:

Yay!

Got my NOA2 - it says the Date of Approval was September 16, 2013 - nice to receive it on my birthday today.

Just have to wait for my case number now :)

So I have sent off the Police Certificate form ... it should hopefully result in the actual thing coming to me around mid-October at the latest.

I should have received my birth certificate by now from the GRO but apparently there have been a high volume of enquiries which has delayed their normal despatch times. Wish I had picked the premium service now lol :thumbdown:

One thing they don't tell you about is how impatient you can get waiting for the wheels to turn .... I know that in theory I could be waiting for my case number until mid-November then a following two months for my actual interview; even though that isn't that long, I think I have got myself a little addicted to checking the post :thumbup:

Might take up yoga or some other sort of mindful activity, to keep myself distracted lol ...

Got notification that my Police Certificate is being processed ...

Plus ... got Tetanus and MMR Jab yesterday. Feel a bit woozy, but pleased nonetheless that is out of the way. Going to get flu jab soon as well.

Getting flu jab tomorrow from Sainsbury's - need to get them to give me a receipt for the medical in London.

ACPO say my certificate should arrive today or tomorrow (Police Certificate) -yay!

Haven't heard from the Consulate about my case number (it has been 4 weeks and they said in the letter within 8 weeks) .... I know, I know, be patient ....

Hard though.

My stepdaughter, when I got my police certificate which showed all clear (and before I had married her mother), said that the only thing that means is that I hadn't yet been caught... and I could still be an axe murderer!

Next Monday will be 4 weeks since I received my Notice of Approval. Hope my case number comes soon (and doesn't take the entire 8 weeks), going a bit doolally lol. Patience is not a strength of mine haha.

Same here, sadly. :(

We received our I-130 approval on 17 September. As of today, it has been 23 days of waiting for the case number. It will be a month next Tuesday.

Looking at other people's timelines makes me anxious that it has been taking the Immigrant Visa Unit so long to get back to us. The good news is that the US government shutdown does not affect visa processing.

Fingers crossed. I hope it will arrive next week. Keep us posted.
