They might say to send it back... because they almost always say to send it back (because they use a form letter) - but you don't have to. It won't make a difference.
Ian Do you think it would be wise to keep a file of relevant documents to identify myself other than my passport in my hand-luggage (like marriage-certificate/birth-certificate etc) just in case the officer at CBP at the POE gets funny about my surname on the travel document portion of the summary sheet being reversed? Also - at the airport when I am departing for the US, is it likely to cause an issue? Hoffage |

Certainly couldn't hurt.
No. As long as your airline ticket matches your passport name, that's all that matters. Rene This whole immigration thing has gotten me so jumpy now with ticking all the boxes. As long as I know I won't be denied entry at POE due to a missing hyphen (and reversed surname on the biographic bit at the bottom) I will be ok lol. Thinking about it - the pack will contain all the documentation with my name correctly formatted anyway, so that should back me up in case of troubles as well. I have printed out a copy of the first page of the DS-260 where it shows my full name formatted correctly as well. Going to try and relax(!) this weekend about it all. Hoffage |

Re: Hoffage's DCF Thread
Lol, Hoffage. I am "counting sleeps" until my daughter and son-in-law arrive end of April -71 "sleeps" counting tonight since I am still awake. I asked her if she was getting nervous, she said, "No, not yet. I am waiting til March to panic!"
