CR-1 embassy interview - quick question
UKC living in UK, married to USC living in US - we applied through NVC, and so far everything has gone pretty smoothly except for <waves arms around> everything in the world right now.
I've got my interview at the embassy in London at the end of March 2021, and I have one quick question that I'm hoping someone here might be able to answer: do I need to bring the original versions of the I-864 forms we submitted to the NVC (i.e., my spouse/sponsor's and my joint sponsor's)? I'm sure I have read here before that original versions are recommended for the DCF interviews - but I'm not sure whether that also applies to those who have applied through NVC.
Your advice/experience is much appreciated - as it has been all through this process!

You are supposed to bring the originals to the interview, yes. That being said, they might not ask for them. But if possible, better to be prepared.

As Rene said, bring originals for everything you possibly can. Even if they're a PITA to obtain, it would be annoying to delay obtaining your visa due to not having an original of something.

Thank you both! I'll get them sent over - hoping that both people kept a hard copy as I asked them to!

Take originals of everything AND good copies of each document you would be willing to surrender to them.
Good luck!!
