Oh dear. Stokes' century the only mildly redeeming feature of an otherwise utterly dismal first three Tests.
The pitch seems to have been a bit dodgy, and as JamesM said earlier, it's possible to argue that batting second has made too big an impact on the result, but those are poor excuses. England haven't bowled Australia out twice yet in three matches, yet in only two innings have they managed to survive more than 100 overs with the bat (and even then, only just).

I don't know, but it is all very nostalgic. Getting stuffed by the Ozzies reminds me of my youth.

The last test of the series is on now if anyone has the stomach for it.
