Here in the East it's fantastic! I can't believe that it's all sorted. My husband
Left me six weeks ago and I was still sending him emails saying "it's still snowing and I've had enough" and today we went for a walk round a lake and there were numbers of girls in swimsuits! Result

So it started snowing the weekend after Thanksgiving and it stopped on Monday, so I make that six and a half months of winter weather. The yearly average for temperatures below freezing is 190 days, so that sounds about right.
For those of you thinking of moving here...

It's too overcast for me, at least it's sunny in Calgary. Plus it doesn't catch fire as often.
