Unfortunately we won't be able to make the weekend of 29th / 30th (to be fair, we wouldn't be able to do the following weekend either!). You guys enjoy the drinkies!

OK whos for changing the date of the meet up - seeing as no-ne can make it that weekend its looking like a wash out - who has other suggestions!!!!!

we up for meeting up - the only day we cant do is sat night but if we also/or
meeting in day anyway then that would be great anyway just to have a chat for a couple of hours.

should have said the sat is the 30th should have said that. If we cant make the date decided on this time around then hopefully there will be another occasion where we can meet

We're still up for it. Having only arrived 12 days ago, our social calendars are looking pretty empty, so we are free next Saturday, or most other dates!

Oh darn... a missed opportunity. Afraid I've had a few days away from the computer after the OH suffered a mishap while helping BIL install a new solar hot water system and tank.
While manoeuvring said enormous tank into place, there was a slippage and a metal piece sank deeply into OH's left wrist, sending a fountain of blood gushing... cue frantic trip to Scenic Acres emergency walk-in clinic where very nice Indian doc decided no damage to veins or tendons (Thank you God) and stitched through various layers of flesh and skin to close.
OH is recovering (calls himself the "one-armed bandit" now)... I'm still in shock.

lol no you didn't miss anything we haven't met can't get everyone together though i am over in Calgary for the masters on Saturday (spruce meadows event and have loads of free family passes if anyone wants some!)
