Another one in the UK for me. I amoff to my sister's for as many hours as I can handle, which unless I take earplugs will be about four, less if Christmas lunch is done early. I would stay longer, but there will be six under five year olds to content with! Then return home for a quiet drink and TV, with Dad and BF, Boxing Day lunch with Dad and BF family in a nice country pub. No cooking for me this year. |

:thumbsup: my 2 lovely boys are coming over on the 16th for Christmas:thumbsup: gonna spoil them rotten :amen: they'll go back at least a stone heavier and then, when we take them back to the airport, I will totally embarrass them both with the amount of wailing, snot and hanging on to their ankles :wub::embarrassed_smile:

I'll be back in Huddersfield, leaving Vancouver Dec 15th and returning on the 30th. This Christmas will be a quiet one, very much about time with family - it's the first one without my Dad :(

This is my first NB Christmas...and I'm sort of delighted and scared by turns...my husband is at last coming home on 17th and wil be with us for four weeks!! I'm guaranteed snow, and 'chilly' weather! In that spirit of embrace it or hate it, I've signed up to cross country skiing! Never been on a ski in my life before! Maybe you could all form a rota for hospital visiting thereafter!

We are going to Orlando, FL next Thursday for a surprise trip to Disney World.
We come back on the 3rd. Only thing is I have to drive across this to get to Vancouver. |

Changed mind from Lord Beaverbrook hotel Xmas buffet to invite another british family of five who are family-free this Xmas so lots of bread sauce, twiglets and mince pies.
No explaining to do of British traditions, phew! |
