Who's going where at Christmas?
 

I'm leaving the frozen north on Mon 19th, heading down to Calgary, then out to the UK on Tuesday evening, arriving back in lovely Norfolk on 21st.

Three weeks at home over Christmas and New Year... walks in the fields, crackling log fires, real ale in the pub... love it. :)

Anyone else going anywhere nice - or not so nice - over the festive period?

Farnham in Surrey. Not many nicer towns on the planet than that.

A party in Bristol on NYE and then back to Tdot on the 2nd Jan.

Was hoping to go somewhere warm but the OH's varicose vein treatment has buggered that idea (she can't fly). Instead, we shall hit the South Shore to see the MIL (she probably can fly, assisted by a broom). I shall 'be required' to work from Boxing Day onwards, so we'll come home, continue with the sundry renovations and then get shitfaced with our neighbours on NYE.

Heading back to the UK on Friday. Flying Halifax > Philiadelphia > Manchester.

Lets see if we can speculate as to why he took this route

1. All other carriers were booked i.e late in booking tickets
2. He has a bunch of airmiles
3. He wanted to pick up a genuine Flyers, Eagles, 76ers or Union jersey/hat
4. Hates flying out of YYZ
5. He has turned into a Canadian and chosen the cheapest flight regardless of how many airport changes, flights and layovers and arriving 30 hrs after he set off and is now tired and grumpy and pissed off that he has to deal with Customs :rofl:
