Whats the status of the light bulb? If its here as a visitor then you wont be able to turn it on as then it would be working and you cant work as a visitor.
If the light bulb has been in the socket for 12 months then the socket could apply for spousal or common law sponsorship. If the light bulb wants to work then the socket should apply for an LMO stating that no other light bulbs are qualified to do this job.
