Perhaps you'd like one of these then, Bazzz - it's Canadian designed and built (you just can't buy it here )

It's got to be the most useful thing I've ever bought, aside from the quad of course

I am encouraged to see the Mercedes (Dodge) Sprinter on the road and becoming very popular, with its economy factor.
Hopefully Ford will introduce their Transit range!
Simple:
European commercials: Efficiency
North American commercials: Overkill
Japan commercials: Flexible depending on continent and customer!

If I were buying a truck I would buy a very big one, with a shiny box in the back and rounded corners and extra seats and it would be red

I'm with you on this one IainK...to me a big honking truck for the majority of us is an utter waste of money. They are big, cumbersome, hard to park in parking lots in the winter due to snow piles, use up a lot of petrol etc. If you are a farmer, contractor, construction worker, tradesman I can see their purpose (or if you have a burning desire to be the 'go to' guy when any of your friends move or buy large appliances).
A couple of years ago, I was filling up my car when petrol was $1.25/l (due to the hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico) and this guy pulls up (in a Chev Avalanche) complaining about the price of petrol to me. When I suggested he get a smaller car, his retort was that small cars are for 'homos'...A real class act.

I usually go for domestic SUVs; switched to a Chevy Colorado Crew.
I like the added flexibility brought about by the small box!! Very pleased with it thus far, and can't see me needing a bigger box.
I will make no further mention of doorbells and what have you...

No, sorry - I don't... (The Rick Mercer clip on the Zenn site is interesting, as well as funny, too).
I heard recently (can't remember where/who/how - so might be a load of old tosh), that one so-called "green" hybrid car like the Toyota Prius/Camry etc, actually creates as much harm to the environment (manufacture/disposal) as a Hummer does in it's life time.)
Maybe it's an urban legend, or is simply a rumour generated by the Gas guzzling manufacturers and or oil companies, I dunno. Food for thought though
