That's exactly what it is, with a little opera, and ballet thrown in.

I wonder how many people didn't adjust their after-tax Canadian$ income to GBP.

* awkward *

:(:(:(

Too many Elites, now I feel common. Just like Frasier when he finally got access to the Gold Spa, only to find the Platinum door.

The bbc claims it used sociologists to design this, but it looks more like something out of a marketing department. Like when credit card companies realized they could lend to suckers by telling them they qualify for 'gold' and 'platinum' cards.

I've nothing better to do this morning so I've written the 'Canadian class calculator', check it out:

Do you own a big truck?
Do you frequent the drive-through at Tim Horton's?
Are you a member of a union?
If the answer is yes to any of the above then you are 'Traditional Middle Class'.

Do you own a big old truck?
Do you own an old quad bike?
Have you never had a bath?
Do you spend all your time hunting and fishing?
Do you wear a long scruffy beard?
Do you own a smart phone?
If the answer is yes to all of the above then you are 'Modern Technical Red Neck Class'.

Have you always lived and stayed near the location you were born?
Do you regularly shop at Walmart?
If the answer is yes to both of the above then you are 'Precariat and not very classy, at all'.

Do you regularly smoke weed?
Do you own a small, practical vehicle?
If the answer is yes to any of the above then you are a 'Hippy tree hugger'.

Do you partake in criminal activities or riots?
Do you own a grow op and/or a meth lab?
Do you drive a Honda Civic with lowered suspension?
If the answer is yes to any of the above then you are 'Gangster'.

Are you well educated?
Are you a professional, scientist, doctor, judge or CEO?
Do you have a large trust fund or other 'old money' inheritance?
If the answer is yes to any of the above then, it doesn't matter who or what you think you are, as the rest of the world strongly believe you are just a 'lumberjack' and that this is the funniest thought they've ever had.

I don't think I like your English class system; I'm not sure what I find more insulting, being called low class or being called it with a word I don't understand.:frown:
