I suspected that you'd been held back a couple of years. That's why you're older than me. :)

That'll explain why I never finished school until I was 24. ;)

It's got something to do with Novo's signature line. :)

Maybe a Zimmer frame reference. :p

Thanks for the banter.

It distracts me from an otherwise sh*t morning. Our hot water heater burst sometime overnight, consequently no hot water. Basement carpet soaked. All cleaned up now, tank shut off and drained. Replacement set for Tuesday morning.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you enjoy your shower on Tuesday, until then......

Tried the survey a couple of times and the answer was either elite or middle class. Elite is laughable - middle class is correct.

No questions in the survey related to accent, place of origin in the UK, ethnicity, title - so according to the BBC presumably none of these are a factor in determining social class.

I noticed on Newsnight tonight where the programme was all about Mrs T. Martin Amis credited Mrs T. with the break up of the class system.

No - historically they get a free ticket to Oz.

I'm Elite apparently, which will probably make my Mother very happy. All those years of rampant social climbing have done good.

One of the things I like best about Kanuckistan is that it's relatively class free...
