Thanks for the banter. It distracts me from an otherwise sh*t morning. Our hot water heater burst sometime overnight, consequently no hot water. Basement carpet soaked. All cleaned up now, tank shut off and drained. Replacement set for Tuesday morning. |

Tried the survey a couple of times and the answer was either elite or middle class. Elite is laughable - middle class is correct.
No questions in the survey related to accent, place of origin in the UK, ethnicity, title - so according to the BBC presumably none of these are a factor in determining social class. I noticed on Newsnight tonight where the programme was all about Mrs T. Martin Amis credited Mrs T. with the break up of the class system. |
