I like the Pontiac G6. Pontiac have gone bust but parts should not be an issue, longevity may be however! - Ford Focus (The "new" shape that we have nad in the UK for years should be a good call as are the VW Golf's - I have a new one of the estates myself and would get another)

I find that my VW is poorly designed and expensive to run. The build quality is unremarkable. I was happier with Ford products.

Pontiac didn't go bust. It was just a General Motors brand that was discontinued, along with Oldsmobile, Hummer and Saturn.

I have to agree with the experience of wife's Rabbit (Golf).

Anyway, there's no real choice to be made for the oil wives in Aspen... Cadillac Escalade if you're American, Volvo XC90 if you're European.

We bought a 'Soccer Mom's car' a Buick Rendezvous :thumbup:- great old thing - never danced about in snow, room for kids and 2 large dogs - only drawback is we now want a travel trailer (caravan to you and me) and it only has a towing limit of 3500lbs and the monster caravans you'll see here weigh more than that. Looks like a pick up of some sort is on cards.:eek:
