Same as last weekend, but had issues with drunk guests last night creating trouble and problems.

Now will sleep for about 14 hours, then back to work.....Joys of graveyard shift, 8 hours of broken day sleep just doesn't cut it, need a good 12-14 hours to function overnight....

Poor bugger came home looking like he was anorexic.

Which area were you at ? We just got back from Cayo Santa Maria yesterday - Had a ball Food was the usual Cuban crap though but could always get sommit to eat

Did someone else at least make the decision for you?

I am working, double shift at Sales Centre in Walmart. Some regulars just came by with some chocolates, just need someone else to get me a coffee and my day is complete!

nope , got up, looked out window, misty crappy stuff around. Phoned for weather, was told might be better this afternoon. Postponed flight til later. just about to head out door, instructor texts that latest ceilings are still too low. Gives me option of doing local circuits.
I declined as there was no real learning value in them at the moment.

grounded and annoyed

I've been at this flying lark for a while now and I've never had such enforced gaps in my training due to the weather before.

If ( big if) i get to fly next week then it'l have been a month between flights. The previous gap was a month as well. Super frustrating.

I was just on the verge of my solo xcountry when winter hit. I came to terms with that not happening until spring, so we started concentrating on getting all my airwork to flight test standards.

Now not even that is happening. All that's left is the option to fly circuits and I could do them with my eyes closed ( not recommended though!)

Saturday - Watched the rugby, Wales won!!

Went shopping, put shopping away, washed car, watched a movie, slept

Sunday - Did housework, washing etc

Waiting to watch the NFL

Sleep, work

Oh and in between, take dogs for a walk, clear snow, chip ice, pump basement, sort clothes, sort contents of wardroom, answered emails, talked to a bunch of virtual witches...............
