Maybe, we are touching a nerve talking about such frivolous things as new cars.. You do seem to be snipe ing at people regarding their finances/ life style .. Ex getting all your money ?
Kia's are nice cars. HID rented one and it was great fun bombing around town. The only draw back I could see was apparently the rental company found it hard to get the mud from the prawn traps off the seats.

Tks .. It's a fine and functional car, good on gas, enough space for all when needed, but not a monster. Tbh I wanted the Subaru spot trek in orange .. But none left .

It often goes a week without being driven, but I go and talk to it

On the contrary...I guess it helped that I didn't marry the stay at home time, so all am paying is child support which of course is the right of the child.

I was just curious as to how someone goes from a Sube to a Kia....but you acknowledged by saying it's your "love for the environment" that mattered won the day....good on ya for that

The convertible doesn't really convert though, the top is bulky when folded and obstructs the view to the rear. The wheels are smaller than the VW's requiring extra diligence to driveway clearance and a mini convertible is more expensive than the VW. It seems nothing has changed, these are the arguments that lead me to hold my nose and buy the Beetle last time around. A colleague, an outrageous fag hag, has just bought a bright yellow convertible "a smilie on wheels" so, if I were to go back to VW, it'd have to be another colour.

The Mrs had a Kia Soul for a four year lease. It was a good car, roomy, reliable, ok fuel economy. In many ways she was sad to see it go.

Dbd did I2C get the F150? If not then that's the replacement for the beetle sorted.

Are women allowed to drive F150s?

I had a Cooper S as my last car before emigrating, was very sad to watch it being driven off after sale a few days before flying out.

No F150 yet. It's not really an option in this case as the vehicle will be driven 60 miles a day and that's a lot of petrol in a truck.

I drove a new Beetle a couple of weeks ago and thought it a very disappointing car; sluggish, heavy steering and poor visibility. Although admittedly it was only around Vancouver so it may not be relevant to your situation.

Visibility is certainly a problem. And electrical reliability. And it costs about $400/month in servicing. Wtf am I thinking, of course I won't get another one!
