At present wifey and I are just soon-to-be-Vancouverites-ETA December 11th -, however, by middle of January we should have secured our place to stay, and would like to drop in, wherever that may be - ooops, should I really say so?:ohmy::eek: - :rofl:

Sorry I totally forgot about this.

So I'm just going to put a date out there and I believe people would prefer an evening meet up so I'm going to say Wednesday 13 January evening somewhere in downtown Vancouver.

Who is up for this?

Hi, we did make it back and did secure our place to stay, however, we have just been told our container will probably arrive between January 8th and January 15th.
So I guess I know already what we will be doing.:-(

I think we could probably make it, I think we are in Vancouver that day to begin with (we go there more then I'd like).

Great!!! I was thinking around 7pm. I can come straight from work to somewhere downtown. Mahonys by Canada Place/convention centre..? I can then stumble down to my gym afterwards if I feel the urge :rofl:

Ok so here it is: Meet up: Mahonys (Canada place/Convention Centre) from 7pm onwards on Wednesday 13 January. If you can make it great, if not I'll drink by myself :) One question though, how have people shown people that it is meet up group or should I just say 'women sitting by herself on a large(ish) table ???

Wear a certain color jacket or make a sign, or everyone can just yell is Becki from the Uk here.....

Book a table under "Expats".

Have people on arrival ask the servers to take them to the "Expats" table.
