When I was a kid the public health nurse came to our town and set up a 1 day clinic in a room above the general store and vaccinated every kid in town and surrounding district against polio and I don't know what else. New vaccines and boosters were given at school for years after. Now I get an annual flu shot; they give me coffee and cookies and nurses pay a little attention to me. I don't see any down side. |
Re: Vaccine/Measles etc
This is a heroic attempt to drag the thread back to something approximating on topic.
I have just watched a news clip of Our Great Leader speaking out in favour of vaccination at a meeting on something or other. He said ...Come on folk, listen to the scientists and the medical profession...get your kids vaccinated....if you're not an expert like the scientists are, just listen to them and act on their advice. I'll find my jaw on the floor later but in the meantime I'd like to know if he feels the same way about scientific advice on climate change? Oh, the incredible hypocrisy! Jesus wept. (see my avatar for a graphic depiction). |

A child in Germany has died from the measles, I wonder how Andrew Wakefield sleeps at night.
