Top Loaders, Front Loaders, Why

I thought I'd used my (much less impressive than your) snowblower for the last time this winter but we had (still having actually) a storm last night that dumped another 10cms. Given the speed that it was drifting in as I was clearing the drive I suspect I'll be having another go tonight. Not yet time to change my avatar then.

Yes I did dbd. I also have checked out the pictures of a very shiny tractor on the blog. The snowblower I have to confess is a tad disapointing in the pics, resembling as it does a collection of rusty metal and gear chains. Still, I expect when you post the pics of it in full PTO driven fury next winter I will be suitably awed!

I'm a little embarassed that the dealer buffed the tractor before delivery, incompetent tractoring is one thing, shiny and conspicuous incompetent tractoring another. Still, it's not a car, I don't have to parade up Church St on it.

The front loaders are twice the bloody price though!?! Thats my moan for the day!
Do you guys complain about top loading washing machines when both top and front loading washers are available in the US and in Canada. If you prefer a front loader than buy that one instead of the top loader. But then again, if you didn't buy the front loader, it gives you one more thing to complain and as a Brit explained to me, complaining is what makes Brits happy.

You're correct though. I don't think there is such a beast as a top loading bra.
However I've seen plenty in recent times that are very definitely top loaded. In fact if they were any more top loaded they be falling out.

If they push them up any higher they could use 'em as a shelf.

Shovelling-in from the top seems the only real option.

not sure how, but it was disguised in this thread...and it was probably my fault
Wont happen again
My practical knowledge of operation is based solely on knowing how to defeat the energy saving features in order to get scalding hot water to wash the stinky diapers in. 30° may work for regular dirt, but is in no way effective against zinc based arse cream.

I suspect the washer has a lot to do with effectiveness. Newer fancier agitators seem to do a better job than our old machine ever did.
