Top Loaders, Front Loaders, Why
#1
Do you guys complain about top loading washing machines when both top and front loading washers are available in the US and in Canada. If you prefer a front loader than buy that one instead of the top loader. But then again, if you didn't buy the front loader, it gives you one more thing to complain and as a Brit explained to me, complaining is what makes Brits happy.

Wow, great post. I can see why they made you a moderator.

Have I missed the great 'Why Canadian washing machines are third world debate?' We have a top loader which we plan to switch for a front loader, only because a front loader is more water efficient. So if anyone in Newfoundland wants to buy a 3 year old toploader lightly used, let me know!

Why are foreigners always complaining about Brits complaining?

(Apologies for this off topic post but apparently I know nothing about washing machines, I've recently been told that they have settings other than the on/off I've used for years).

Ours has a multitude of different programs and settings and needless to say we only ever use one, don't know why they have so many choices.

I think you need the different programs if you sort the clothes though why you'd want to order clothes according to location or year of purchase is a bit lost on me.

Wont happen again
My practical knowledge of operation is based solely on knowing how to defeat the energy saving features in order to get scalding hot water to wash the stinky diapers in. 30° may work for regular dirt, but is in no way effective against zinc based arse cream.
