But really, the more I think about it, it would be so typical of Ferguson to try to unsettle Liverpool with a bid for Gerrard. It's just the sort of tactic that I'd expect from him. Owen brochure sent to clubs - Striker hoping to be going places with 34-page document

Michael Owen is bidding to secure a Premier League contract after his management company compiled a brochure on the striker.

I don't see a place for him at Arsenal. We already have an injury-prone striker in Van Persie, who's still a much better player than Owen!
