Not the best resource but sky news said
Well done John Terry for following the rules.
Apparently
Repeating his actions at Chelsea's previous European final, in Munich 12 months ago, Terry adhered to Uefa regulations and put on his full match kit for the presentation of the trophy.

Apparently
In fairness to the former England skipper, he was not the only Chelsea player to parade around in full kit despite not playing. Marko Marin, Oriol Romeu and Ryan Betrand all helped celebrate the win in full-kit.

There was no truth in the suggestion Terry had invested in a replica Benfica outfit just in case things turned bad and he was in danger of not hoisting the great prize."

I saw that.
I think if I had to name my top two Premier League All star 11's he'd be omitted. But there is definitely a case for him being in the Top 5 Premier League right midfielders of all time and his set piece skills are as good as any so I think he has a case for Top 50 and Top 100.
He has also been consistently good over long spells.
Someone like Harry Kewell was a better footballer who squandered his talent. Players like Michael Owen (World Class once) also faded much faster.

Did anyone hear about the well known footballer who donned his full kit after the match in which he didn't play to celebrate his team's trophy win?
Step forward Lionel Messi.
