Spurs are 3rd folks having played a game less. Let's talk about how bloody fantastic the Lillywhites and Harry's army are.

We didn't acquit ourselves very well yesterday. Rather a shabby show at home I thought.

FYI..Sportsnet World (formerly Setanta Sports Canada) is on free preview with most of the cable/satellite companies from December 2 until January 3.....the HD version as well.

Steven Taylor and Colllocini are both crocked after the match.

Those 14 points we still need might take a lot longer than I'd hoped.

Any "Pardew Out" chants at St James yet?

No, not at all. It's been a shitty month but the Toon Army is waiting to see whether Ashley (a) spends a good slice of the Carroll 35M in January or (b) compounds the problem by flogging off Tiote for another wad.

I see no signs of unrest with Pardew, but a potential rebellion if (b) is what the Fat Cockney Bastard does.

PS Glad to see you still call it SJP. It'll likely be "Yournameherefor10million Stadium" next month.

Should anything go or should football be an unsult free zone?

Pardew is probably safe for this season but a poor start next and that'll be it.

I don't want to spoil it in case anyone's taped the games to watch tonight but I'm very happy.
