We don't drink it, but that is what we have on hand in case visitors want a coffee.

I go to starbucks to buy coffee (it's the closest coffee shop that's not timmies) or we use that fancy Doi Chaang coffee at home, well, that or something else that's poncy and organic from SE asia.

Maybe the more refined posters on BE will arrive shortly and perhaps suggest one of these

Van Houtte, either French Roast or Colombian.

Judging from my nail-storage tins in the garage, we've previously tried Folgers and Maxwell House.

We also have a jar of instant for knuckle-dragging visitors. It's been there for a while and may have gone off but who'd know?

Well, not a lot of other options up there.

Ever notice that we Canadians/Pr's and others living here get as passionate about any threads that mention Tim Hortons/Crappy Tire etc than some of the threads that mention Pikies or Travellers

You're quite right! After all, the Brits have the most delicious and healthy diet in the world, don't they. Seriously, I think that all the noobs from the UK are really wishing they moved to Basingstoke or somewhere like that , the way they bemoan the lack of Costa Coffee, Next, Debenhams, etc.

Earl Grey Tea.

All day, every day. Gallons of it.

Though, as a treat for my tea-drinking Canadian colleague, last time coming through Heathrow I bought a tin of Fortnum & Mason Christmas Tea, and it is amazing... incredibly good tea.
