Its a queen, will it not work for you? I personally thinks Kings are too big, I like snuggling at night;)

Thank you for your discription so you think a name or a date of a loved one who died is a tramp stamp?

Shit no it won't - i'd want something that beautiful in either our bedroom or the main bedroom in the basement (both kings) the only queen is in the 'never really used ever unless someone passes out and can't go home' room - and that beautiful bed desrves more of an audience than that.

shit shit shit :frown:

I think that was more of a generalisation / a stereotype phrase which would conjure up a mental image of your typical council estate scrubber with a bad tattoo.

If you had to think about every scenario relating to a comment thats made before you made it - then no-one would speak.

If he has nothing good to say about the topic why post at all. Maybe the poster could send me his phone number so my friend could contact him and tell them why his dads date of death is a tramp stamp.

Oh for goodness sake! Its a forum and people will post their views. Moochops asked a quyestion, people commented, did you see her get all stroppy about the tramp stamp comment?

I refer to public transit as the scum shuttle, I still use it.
I sometimes refer to tatts as tramp stamps but I have one.

Its really not the end of the world.

It seems to me that a "Tramp Stamp" is specifically a tat on the back, just above the buttocks, "Arse Antlers" in England. One wonders what use it would be to have a relative's dates of birth and death back there; whenever you needed to know them you'd have to go to a complicated bathroom to use both mirrors.

Poop, It's only used in our spare room right now (and believe me it's squeezed in) and usually covered in crap that we haven't put away. It won't fit in our new house, unless we have it as our main bed, but OH wants to keep the other set we've got. Never mind, I'll let the next one on the list know we are selling it:rofl:

Why would you need a tattoo to remind you of a significant date?

Surely an Iphone is better, AND it will play a musical reminder once a year ;)

Do you have any idea how gutted I am :( but whats the point in having a beautiful bed like that in a bedroom where noone wil use it.

Tell whoever gets it I hope they fall out

I suppose its like any tattoo, the reasons behind the majority are personal and a kind of way of saying "this is how much I love / loved you"

I could have bought a stuffed nodding head duck and put it on the dash of the truck - it would have been cheaper and less painful  (not that they hurt too much btw)

I love the bed too and I'm gutted it's got to go. Hmm, maybe we should wait a bit, in case I decide that a log bed would look better in the new place (I prefer it to the 'grander' one we've got) OH thinks we should go modern, but I think we're more country:rofl::rolleyes:

Seriously Piff I'd keep it unless you are really needing the room in which case i'll look after it for you til you move and if you want it back we'll bring it back - and if you don't I may have gotten too attatched to let it go in which case it's a done deal
