Default Summer thread

How come we have winter threads every winter but we don't have summer threads?

We have sleet here right now.

We have a cold, gusty wind that is warning of possible flurries in the next few days.

Because, on the day with the sunny afternoon, everyone is out barbecuing or boating or running naked through the long grass with flowers in their hair. During the 364 days of bad weather they're hanging around the radiators wondering what to do and so have time to post about their pain and suffering.

-4 this morning.

The street sweepers swept my road last night, that means Winter has ended!!
I once spent a summer working on a rabbit farm. It was a hare raising experience.

That's neither one thing or the other if the grass covers you up. Is it painful when you do that?

It was fairly warm today but the westerly wind is picking up and I have to go and pick up crab traps later this afternoon, winds predicted to be around 14 knots. It should make for a fun trip.

Been snowing most of the afternoon. Melting on contact of course but quite blizzardy at times.

Blimey. A boat and seasonal cars. When do you visit the villa in the South of France?

LOL It sounds a lot more extravagant than it is…. I have a collection of ‘gently used, well maintained toys’ the boat is 31 years old, the car and snowmobile are 11 years old….but all in good shape for the age of them. Have to have your toys if your living in Canada! And besides with no wife or kids they are my family!

Sadly no Villa……… but I have a nice tent to enjoy the great Canadian outdoors! lol.
