As you've probably guessed from the majority of my posts, I'm not serious very often but there is always a first time.

I've volunteered to take part in a Dragon Boat race on June 9th to raise awareness and support cancer care and the Breast Assessment Centre at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

As with a lot of other people, the cause is dear to my heart due to a family member so I'm trying my utmost to raise as much as possible - which is where everybody on BE comes into it

I don't know many people out of work (who are entering the team into the race) so the majority of my donations so far are from family back in the UK.
