I don't think I can cope with this for a month.

I expect between me trying to open this and post it there have been dozens of comments.

A month? I suppose I've missed some sort of announcement. I can't be doing with that.

I rather like it.

The site went down in the early hours of this morning for me and now it is taking several minutes to load one page.

I understand the frustration (completely, lol) but hopefully this will only continue for a day or so. The 'announcement' length (a month) is standardised I think and I doubt very much if the go-slow would last a month!

Fingers crossed we are back up and running normally soon.

Maybe it will just seem like it.

I didn't notice Sue's announcement for quite some time as I usually check BE via my Profile page (subscribed threads) rather than the Maple Leaf page. It was driving me a bit crazy with the slow loading.

Despite my current ocular issues, I managed to read a PhD thesis which I'll be examining next week.
