As you've probably guessed from the majority of my posts, I'm not serious very often but there is always a first time.

I've volunteered to take part in a Dragon Boat race on June 9th to raise awareness and support cancer care and the Breast Assessment Centre at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

As with a lot of other people, the cause is dear to my heart due to a family member so I'm trying my utmost to raise as much as possible - which is where everybody on BE comes into it :D

I don't know many people out of work (who are entering the team into the race) so the majority of my donations so far are from family back in the UK.

Not much interest from the BE clan so far but you never know and there is time yet.
