We just had to celebrate all that good news in one day with an impromptu trip to Red Lobster!!

Wow, Morwenna, that's huge. Many congratulations to your menfolk, especially your husband. To be promoted to manager of the downtown store so soon after arriving in the country is a real feather in his cap.

He's accepted it on 3 months' trial though, on both sides ...... the current manager is on long term sick with stress, and he says he'll not carry on at the risk of his health, so we'll see!! :scared:
He's a very calm person though, and managed a jewellery store in the UK for 18 years, and is well used to pouring oil on troubled female staff members!!
He's also worked with these people since September last year, so he knows them quite well already!
